Development Manager OR Senior Development Manager Chigwell c55,000 – 95,000 plus package DOE

In this role you will drive land-led development by securing land and development contracts, negotiating legal documents, and guiding planning with external consultants. You will report to a board Director overseeing land, development and planning, and work across partnerships, regeneration schemes, and privately built projects. You’ll manage planning submissions, viability reports, and S106/CIL related work while maintaining strong solicitor liaison. • Manage process of securing land/development contracts after bids or tenders (Land Agreement, Option Agreement, Development Agreement, Agreement for Lease) and related legal docs
• Liaise with solicitors to negotiate and finalize legal documents
• Support bids and tenders and advise on potential development risk items and mitigations
• Oversee planning permission submissions (S73s/S96s)
• Coordinate with planning consultants, architects and other consultants to ensure viable planning outcomes
• Oversee viability assessment reports
• Negotiate and manage S106 agreements and related planning obligations
• Manage all ROL, CIL relief and related works
