Development Team Lead

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Developer Team Lead to combine hands-on software development with technical leadership and mentoring.

You’ll work across full-stack Microsoft and web technologies, helping design and deliver scalable solutions while developing your understanding of investment management and working closely with high-profile clients.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and mentor a team of developers, supporting their professional growth
• Design and architect scalable, maintainable and high-performance software solutions
• Contribute to full-stack development across front end and middleware
• Apply strong coding, testing and version-control practices
• Deliver software projects and solutions for investment management clients
• Analyse complex problems and break them down into logical, practical solutions
• Build knowledge of investment management and the wider investment banking environment
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Set objectives, tasks and deadlines to ensure successful delivery
• Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment

What They're Looking For

• Graduate with a strong academic background
• Strong software development and problem-solving ability
• Experience with C#, ADO.NET and ASP.NET (Web API/Web Services)
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL
• Understanding of SOLID development principles
• Experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Ability to lead, mentor and support other developers
• Willingness and enthusiasm to learn about financial markets and investment management
• Determined, flexible and collaborative approach to work
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional client environment

Nice to Have

• Angular experience
• Git and Azure DevOps
• Previous experience within financial services or investment management
