With multiple awards to our name, Larian Studios has proven that we’re dedicated to delivering high-quality role-playing games As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for a DevOps Build Engineer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust build pipelines for each platform
- Monitor and continuously improve our automated build and CI systems
- Partner with IT to scale and maintain build server infrastructure
- Create and keep documentation of the build/release process up to date
- Support the release manager during patch releases
- Be a go-to resource for teammates when they need a hand
Requirements
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficiency in a scripting language such as Ruby, Groovy, or Python
- Experience automating workflows via shell/bash/cmd on Linux and/or Windows
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, Perforce, or SVN
- Clear communication skills, written and spoken, in English
- Comfortable collaborating with others and taking ownership of your work
- Enthusiasm for experimenting, iterating, and refining features
- Strong software design and problem-solving abilities
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
- Familiarity automating C#/C++ builds (e.g., MSBuild, CMake)
- Exposure to full-stack development
- Background working in the games industry
