DevOps / Cloud Engineer

Build and run the secure, UK-hosted cloud foundation behind compliance-critical systems — infrastructure-as-code through monitoring, backup and vulnerability management.

About the role

Our customers trust us to run compliance-critical systems on secure, UK-hosted cloud infrastructure — and we're hiring a DevOps / Cloud Engineer to build and run that foundation. If you like owning a platform end to end, from infrastructure-as-code to monitoring and vulnerability management, this is that role.

Skyie Global InfoTech Ltd is a compliance-native software house and consultancy based in London. We build a growing portfolio of UK-hosted SaaS products for regulated industries — covering identity verification, lettings compliance, e-signing, uptime monitoring and secure document storage — alongside business, technology and Oracle/SAP ERP consulting and ISO 27001-led security audits. Everything we ship is designed around UK data residency and UK GDPR from day one, because our customers operate where reliability, security and auditability are non-negotiable.

Twelve months in, you'll have automated our path to production — infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines and containerised workloads — and strengthened the monitoring, backup, access and vulnerability controls our certifications depend on. You'll work day to day with our engineers and our security and compliance consultant.

What you will do

• Build and maintain secure, UK-hosted cloud infrastructure
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure-as-code
• Run containerised workloads and keep environments consistent and reproducible
• Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, backup and recoveryManage access controls, patching and vulnerability management
• Support engineering with reliable environments and smooth deployments

What we are looking for

• A relevant degree or equivalent professional experience
• 4+ years' DevOps or cloud engineering experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure
• Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep)
• CI/CD tooling and pipeline automation

Nice to have

Kubernetes and scripting (Bash, Python or PowerShell). Experience in security- or compliance-focused environments (ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials).

This is a permanent, full-time role. You'll be employed and supervised directly by Skyie Global InfoTech Ltd — we do not supply staff or labour to third parties. Internal reference: SOC 2139.
