DevOps / Deployment Engineer – New Grad 2027

Location: Toronto, Ontario

A venture-backed, fast-growing software company serving industrial and manufacturing R&D teams is forming a new Toronto engineering hub and is hiring the class of 2027. As a DevOps / Deployment Engineer you will deploy the company's web platform into enterprise customers' cloud environments, work directly with customer IT teams, and build internal deployment automation. This is an in-person role in Toronto with a 2027 start date.

Must Have Skills

  • Graduating in 2027 from the University of Waterloo with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related program
  • solid, relevant co-op experience (backend, cloud or infrastructure preferred)
  • strong computer science fundamentals
  • strong interest in the details of modern cloud applications
  • comfortable communicating with customer technical teams

Nice to Have Skills

  • Exposure to a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure)
  • familiarity with containers and CI/CD pipelines
  • Linux and scripting experience (Python or shell)
