Overview

In this fully remote role, you will enhance the Microsoft cloud delivery stack across Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. You’ll own CI/CD pipelines, automate deployments and improve security, reliability and efficiency of software delivery. You’ll collaborate with developers, testers and architects in an Agile setting to streamline release processes. This role offers a chance to influence deployment practices at scale while working with a modern Microsoft-centric tech stack.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions
  • Develop, manage and optimise Azure DevOps pipelines and repositories
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Manage Git branching, merging and release strategies
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and deployment
  • Implement secure deployment practices and compliance with security standards
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting and logging across Azure environments
  • Support containerisation via Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Troubleshoot pipeline and deployment issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve development and release processes
  • Contribute to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes to boost delivery efficiency
Key requirements
  • Proven commercial DevOps Engineer experience
  • Strong CI/CD design, implementation and management
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure and the Microsoft Cloud ecosystem
  • Hands-on IaC experience (ARM, Bicep and/or Terraform)
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Experience deploying and managing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
  • Git proficiency including branching, merging and releases
  • Practical experience with Azure DevOps for repositories and pipeline orchestration
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in a DevOps environment
  • Good security practices in cloud/DevOps contexts
  • Experience with monitoring/alerting technologies (Azure Monitor, Application Insights)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
