Overview
In this role you drive DevOps improvements and faster delivery across development, QA, and IT operations. You will join the APS team supporting UK platforms, balancing development, operations and on-call duties to deliver reliable services. You’ll apply automation, best practices, and stakeholder collaboration to align business needs with technical solutions. This is a hands-on, cross-functional position with impact on software quality and deployment speed, in a fast-growing IT services company.

- Experience with DevOps tooling, containers and containerisation
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations through clear communication with stakeholders
- Act as a business SME to understand needs and support the DevOps team
- Stakeholder management to ensure effective service delivery and prioritisation
- 2+ years in a DevOps Engineering role
- Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
- Practical experience with Terraform, ArgoCD, Kubernetes, Kafka & KOWL
- Experience working with Java development teams
- Experience with multiple ecosystem databases and integration
- Experience with monitoring tools for reliability and performance
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes orchestration and Helm package management
- Proficiency in setting up and maintaining pipelines ( Jenkins )
- Database management experience with schema changes (Liquibase)
- Understanding of GitOps principles
- Core Principles: automation, proactive monitoring, continuous improvement and best practices
