DevOps Engineer

In this role you will help design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure powering Moody’s products. You’ll drive modernization with serverless and container-based architectures, implement code-driven governance, and collaborate with engineering teams to improve reliability and efficiency. You’ll balance performance and cost while upholding security and compliance. This is a chance to shape Moody’s cloud DevOps practice and contribute to high-impact, globally available platforms.

• Design, deploy, and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps platforms
• Promote serverless and container-based architectures to improve delivery efficiency
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and Policy as Code across cloud environments
• Build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient software delivery
• Monitor and optimize AWS resource utilization for reliability, performance, and cost
• Administer SaaS development tools and platforms for secure engineering workflows
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve operational excellence, automation, and platform reliability
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing
• Evaluate new technologies and best practices to enhance productivity, security, and scalability

• Familiarity with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
• Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab
• Basic Linux knowledge; willingness to expand technical expertise
• Experience with Docker and containerization
• Understanding of security concepts (access controls, secrets management, least privilege)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation)
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and interest in responsible AI practices
