As a DevOps Engineer at BAE Systems, you design and implement GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines to deploy containerised services to AKS, while managing secure Docker workflows and internal registries. You will define AKS configurations and Terraform modules aligned with Azure Landing Zone standards, supported by strong cloud engineering fundamentals and an automation-first mindset. - Design and implement GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines for deploying containerised services to AKS
- Build and maintain Dockerfiles and container image workflows for internal registries
- Define and manage AKS cluster configurations for secure, scalable workloads
- Develop Terraform modules to provision cloud infrastructure per Azure Landing Zone
- Manage secrets, configuration, and access via Azure Key Vault and Azure AD
- Ensure hybrid connectivity between on-prem and Azure using Greenlink
- Collaborate with MLOps and Data Engineers to deliver reproducible, auditable infrastructure
- Monitor system health and metrics using Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana
- Experience writing and debugging CI/CD pipelines
- Experience building container images with Docker
- Experience managing infrastructure lifecycle in Azure using IaC
- Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Understanding of secure coding and deployment principles
