In this role, you will manage a cloud-based production trading infrastructure and drive automation across real-time and batch processes. You’ll work closely with a cross-functional team to secure systems and improve performance in a fast-paced, blockchain-focused environment. This is an opportunity to shape the delivery of a cutting-edge trading platform while advancing research tooling and operational reliability. You will be part of a dynamic startup-like setting backed by an investment firm, with a strong emphasis on Web3 and NFT technology.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the production trading infrastructure
- Automate real-time and batch jobs
- Provide development and testing tools to the team
- Ensure system security
- Troubleshoot server downtime, network issues, and software errors
- Monitor performance and address bottlenecks affecting trading operations
Key requirements
- Production experience with cloud technologies, ideally AWS
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet
- Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines, ideally with GitHub
- Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with GitOps
- Database administration experience (Postgres and MySQL)
- Experience with monitoring frameworks (Prometheus and Grafana)
