DevOps Engineer

In this role you will design, manage and optimize on-prem deployment pipelines to support mission-critical software in a secure environment. You will work closely with software and systems engineers and stakeholders to ensure secure integration, testing and deployment of complex systems. You’ll drive automation and reliability improvements across the software delivery lifecycle, focusing on containerised applications and secure operations. This is an opportunity to influence engineering practices and contribute to critical national security capabilities.

• Design, manage and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy and support containerised applications within secure environments
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve deployment and infrastructure issues
• Develop automation solutions to streamline software delivery and operational processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams, customers and key stakeholders
• Produce and maintain technical documentation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practice

• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies
• Experience using Helm, Ansible and infrastructure automation tools
• Working knowledge of Docker and/or Podman
• Experience building, maintaining and supporting CI/CD pipelines
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently whilst contributing effectively within a team
• Previous experience within DevOps, Platform Engineering or Software Engineering environments
