DevOps Engineer

I’m working with a highly technical organisation in London that is looking for a Database Platform Engineer to help build and evolve the database services used across a large engineering environment.

What you’ll be working on:

• Running and scaling database platforms across on-prem and cloud environments
• Working with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL and other modern database technologies
• Automating provisioning, upgrades, replication, monitoring and other operational processes
• Improving reliability, performance, capacity and resilience across critical database services
• Working with Linux, Python, Terraform, Ansible and modern infrastructure tooling
• Supporting services running across AWS, containers and Kubernetes
• Troubleshooting database performance, replication, indexing and query issues

• You don’t need to be a software developer, but some Python or scripting experience for automation is important
