Commitment to complete a 16-week, part-time course to develop your mid-level skills Design, implement, and maintain robust GitOps pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, Helm, and ArgoCD to automate software delivery. Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and optimise infrastructure using Terraform and related automation tools across hybrid cloud environments. Enhance Platform Reliability & Security: Ensure continuous delivery ecosystems align with AWS best practices for scalability, security, and high availability. Collaborate Across Engineering Teams: Partner with application and infrastructure teams to streamline version control, manage artifact registries, and eliminate deployment friction. Containerisation & Orchestration Skills: Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes ecosystems (Red Hat OpenShift experience is a major bonus). Ability to automate repetitive tasks and optimise workflows using languages such as Bash, Python, or Go. Hybrid & Cloud Platform Knowledge: Hands-on exposure to public, private, or hybrid cloud environments (such as AWS, IBM Cloud, GCP, or Azure). Collaborative DevOps Mindset: T-Shaped Skill Set: become the go-to person for your technical specialism in addition to building on your collaborative skills to understand and empathise with other tech roles and stakeholders Agility & Automation: taking part in modern software development process, you'll further develop your Agile, DevOps and automation skills, deploying to the cloud.
