DevOps Engineer - Azure - Security - Remote - Amazing role

Hybrid role role with 2 days in the office per week.
Position Overview:

Transforming infrastructureinto a strategicbusiness enabler throughautomation, resilient cloudand on-premiseplatforms, and secure, scalable DevSecOps practicesthat accelerate innovationand future-proofoperations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Pipelines Design,build and maintainautomated build, testand deployment pipelines.
  • Cloud & Platform Management Optimise Azure andon-premises applicationenvironments.
  • Monitoring & Observability Maintain monitoring,logging and performanceacross platforms.
  • Security & Compliance Embed security bestpractices and ensureISO/compliance standards.
  • Automation Develop scripts andtools to improveefficiency and reducemanualeffort.
  • Collaboration Partner with Developmentand IT teamsto support applicationdelivery and resolvedeployment issues.
  • ITIL Operations Manage incidents,requests and problemresolution across theDevOps and applicationstack.

Qualifications and Experience:-

  • 3+ years' experience in a DevOpsrole, ideally withina security-focusedor highly regulatedenvironment.
  • Strong Azure expertise , including the design, deployment and managementof cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven experience with CI/CDplatforms such asAzure DevOps, Jenkinsand GitLab CI .
  • Experience designing andmanaging complex Microsoft-basedinfrastructure environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of containerisation andorchestration technologies, includingDocker andKubernetes .
  • Solid understanding of networking, infrastructuresecurity and Windows/Linux system administration.
  • Experience implementing GitOps principles andmodern deployment strategies.
  • Working knowledge of Agile andDevOps methodologies andbest practices.
  • Scripting skills inPowerShell, Bash and/or Python toautomate operational tasks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication and technicaldocumentation skills.

Desirable:-

  • Degree in ComputerScience, Engineeringor equivalent industryexperience.
  • Professional certificationsin Cloud technologiesand/or DevOps practices (e.g. Microsoft Azure, AzureDevOps, Kubernetes).
  • Full UK drivinglicence.
