Overview

In this DevSecOps role, you will strengthen Deel's security posture across cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation. You will partner with development, operations, and security to embed secure practices and monitoring into the product lifecycle. You’ll lead security tooling, vulnerability management, and compliance activities to scale secure software delivery for a global customer base. Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain automated security tools and processes in the CI/CD pipeline, including security scanners and code analysis
  • Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure, network architecture, access controls, and encryption
  • Implement continuous security monitoring, log analysis, intrusion detection, and system observability
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate security requirements into the development process
  • Assist in compliance assessments and audits, providing documentation and evidence of security controls
Key requirements
  • 3+ years in Security, SecOps, or DevSecOps
  • Hands-on experience with policy-as-code and IaC security scanning tools (Checkov, tfsec, Terrascan)
  • Programming basics in JavaScript, TypeScript, Python; Git and CI/CD experience
  • Manage and tune WAF and firewall configurations (e.g., Cloudflare)
  • Knowledge of security principles, OWASP Top 10, encryption, authentication, access control, security testing
  • Proficiency with CI/CD, infrastructure automation (Docker, Kubernetes), configuration management, monitoring
  • Ability to assess risk, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response planning
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed security
  • Familiarity with SAST/DAST, vulnerability management, and security-focused automation tools
  • Security certifications are advantageous
