Overview

In this role you drive secure, scalable IT infrastructure and automated software delivery within Defence and National Security programs. You will design, deploy and support hybrid cloud and on‑prem environments, implementing IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and managing container workloads with Kubernetes and Docker. You’ll collaborate with engineers to improve reliability, security and CI/CD processes from development through deployment.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build and maintain secure IT infrastructure
  • Support the development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible
  • Administer Windows and Linux environments
  • Support cloud deployments across public, private and hybrid cloud platforms
  • Work with container technologies including Kubernetes and Docker
  • Monitor, maintain and improve system performance, security and reliability
  • Collaborate with software engineers, architects and customers to deliver technical solutions
Key requirements
  • DevSecOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration or Platform Engineering
  • Windows and Linux administration
  • Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins or similar automation tools
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Git, GitLab or Bitbucket
  • Python, PowerShell or Bash scripting
  • AWS or other cloud technologies
