Digital Delivery Lead (Architecture)

In this role you guide the Digital Delivery team within HDR’s Architecture practice in London, directing digital model environments and deliverables across projects. You will collaborate with Project Managers to develop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP), establish server infrastructure, and oversee multidisciplinary model coordination. You will execute digital deliverables through the project lifecycle, provide technical support, and ensure quality and governance of digital processes. • Direct the Digital Delivery Coordinators and Specialists and manage the digital model environment and project deliverables
• Maintain an advanced understanding of interactions between disciplines and how construction documents are produced
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project initiation procedures
• Execute digital deliverables and support production teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide technical support and communicate deliverable schedules to the project team
• Monitor model health and coordination processes from planning to construction documents
• Mentor team members and oversee development of the DDP
• Oversee establishment and maintenance of the document management system and server infrastructure for multi-discipline projects
• Ensure software availability, versions, access, and training to meet project requirements
• Generate and maintain model setups (project information, coordinates, scales, views, sheets) and ensure standards compliance
• Host Digital Delivery coordination meetings to ensure quality control through Design Reviews and 3D coordination
• Coordinate and compile digital deliverables and exchange processes at milestones
• Archive projects at submittals and closeout
• Engage in effective communication with HDR management, staff, and clients
• Mentor staff to develop skills and support Project Managers as needed
• Collaborate with other Digital Delivery Leads to provide guidance and support

• Technical degree or combination of education and relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years digital design (BIM element authoring) and 5 years digital delivery (model management) experience
• Comprehensive understanding of all discipline relations and operations of building systems
• Advanced skillset of 3D design software and document management infrastructure
• Advanced skillset of 3D Coordination tools
• Advanced skillset of Microsoft Office products and communication tools
• Familiar with industry standards and practices, along with discipline codes and specifications
• Familiar with basic automation and programming applications for efficiencies
• Familiar with 3D design software add-ins and supporting applications
