Overview

In this role you will advance BIM, digital engineering and information management on major UK rail projects. You’ll work within Digital Service Delivery to coordinate multidisciplinary design and ensure high-quality information flows. You’ll collaborate with engineering, project management and client teams to improve delivery efficiency and governance. This is a chance to contribute to transformative rail infrastructure while fostering continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across teams.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of BIM, digital engineering, information management and design coordination across major rail programmes
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, commercial and client teams to ensure efficient project delivery
  • Contribute to development, implementation and management of project information and digital delivery processes
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design information to support quality, programme and delivery objectives
  • Support design management activities including planning, monitoring and coordination of design deliverables
  • Help maintain information standards, governance requirements and project delivery procedures
  • Contribute to development of innovative digital delivery solutions that improve project performance and collaboration
  • Support interface management between project stakeholders, design teams and delivery partners
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and consistency across project delivery
  • Promote collaborative ways of working and foster a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
Key requirements
  • Experience in BIM, digital engineering, information management, design management, design coordination or project delivery within infrastructure, transportation or built environment
  • Understanding of digital delivery principles, information management processes or design coordination practices
  • Familiarity with industry standards and collaborative project delivery environments
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to organise, coordinate and manage information within complex project environments
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
  • Rail, transportation or major infrastructure project experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Professional qualifications, accreditation or progress towards professional recognition welcomed
