Overview
As a Digital Infrastructure Engineer, you will help shape and support the digital infrastructure behind Global’s outdoor advertising across the UK and Ireland. You’ll own technical delivery, respond to incidents, and enable safe, reliable deployments, collaborating with project teams, suppliers and on-site staff. The role offers hands-on delivery with a focus on resilience, continuous improvement and live support in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. You’ll gain visibility into core infrastructure and contribute to safe railway-related operations, with a clear path to impact and growth.
Responsibilities- Develop digital infrastructure in line with designs and standards
- Lead third-line incident resolution and coordinate with suppliers
- Plan, raise, implement and review changes with project and installation teams
- Provide technical expertise to first-line teams during live incidents and deployments
- Execute planned out-of-hours installations and operational activities
- Infrastructure experience with Windows desktop and server environments, Linux, DNS, DHCP, HTTP(S), IIS or Apache
- PowerShell and remote management tool proficiency for troubleshooting
- Experience delivering technical solutions and supporting small to mid-sized projects
- IT service management experience in an ITIL-aligned environment (incidents, problems, changes)
- Experience supporting digital advertising, digital signage or CMS in live environments
- Collaborative approach with technical and non-technical stakeholders, prioritising by impact and risk
- Continuous learning mindset; relevant IT certifications beneficial
