Digital Product Owner

As a Digital Product Owner at Barclays, you will maximise product value by shaping a clear vision and managing the backlog to deliver high-impact features. You collaborate with stakeholders and delivery squads to ensure solutions meet customer needs and align with business goals. You drive the product roadmap, use feedback and KPIs to iterate, and maintain readiness for live products. • Align product features with business objectives to drive value
• Create, refine and prioritise the product backlog based on business needs and risk considerations
• Write clear user stories with acceptance criteria for the development team
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)
• Act as the voice of the customer by gathering feedback from users
• Define and manage acceptance criteria; review and accept completed work
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the product vision supports objectives
• Monitor product performance with KPIs and iterate backlog/roadmap accordingly
• Oversee readiness and run activities of live products, including governance and approvals
• Identify and manage risks; ensure alignment with control functions
• Influence decision-making and collaborate with other functions to meet strategy

• Agile mindset with experience in ceremonies, backlog refinement, and sprint planning
• Clear articulation of requirements and acceptance criteria for delivery teams
• Commercial awareness to prioritise backlog against business goals
• Strong collaboration with engineers, BAs, and designers within a squad
