Overview

In this role you will design and govern secure, scalable enterprise tech solutions for a major nuclear power plant project. You will collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, cybersecurity and suppliers to align architecture with regulatory and program objectives. You’ll define end-to-end architectures across Azure, PLM, EDRMS and related platforms, ensuring compliance and smooth integration. This position offers hybrid work in Bristol and a chance to influence critical nuclear infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Define end-to-end solution architectures across enterprise applications, infrastructure and cloud services
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs
  • Ensure cybersecurity, governance and regulatory compliance
  • Design integrated solutions across Azure, PLM, EDRMS and enterprise platforms
  • Lead governance reviews, design assurance and architecture approvals
  • Support integration between engineering systems, ERP, project controls and operational technologies
  • Produce architecture documentation including diagrams, data flows and interfaces
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies and mitigation strategies
  • Support supplier evaluations, procurement activities and technical assessments
  • Contribute to operational readiness, transition planning and service support model development
Key requirements
  • Proven experience delivering solution architecture within regulated infrastructure environments
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and systems integration
  • Experience designing cloud, enterprise application and cybersecurity solutions
  • Azure Expert Certification with strong Microsoft cloud platform knowledge
  • Experience across complex multi-vendor delivery and stakeholder environments
  • Strong communication and governance documentation capabilities
  • Familiarity with TOGAF, Azure architecture and structured delivery methodologies
  • Ability to balance technical, operational and regulatory project requirements effectively
