Overview
As part of Caesars Digital, you enable continuous, reliable operation of our online gaming platforms. In this 24x7 role, you monitor production environments, triage incidents, and drive rapid restoration with clear stakeholder updates. You work closely with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and improve detection, aligning with data-driven product development. This is a fast-paced, high-impact position in a leading gaming company with a focus on uptime and customer experience.
Responsibilities- Provide 24x7 real-time monitoring across Caesars Digital production environments (sportsbook, iCasino, retail) using named monitoring platforms
- Serve as first line of defense for service assurance; validate alerts and classify severity
- Execute runbook procedures and route incidents to appropriate resolver groups
- Identify anomalies and performance degradation before alerts fire; correlate signals to detect broader issues
- Coordinate major incident communications including bridge channels and stakeholder notifications
- Monitor business service dashboards and escalate on deviations impacting revenue or customer experience
- Perform shift handoffs with documented issues, escalations, and upcoming changes
- Maintain awareness of planned changes, maintenance windows, and deployments
- Validate synthetic monitoring results and flag customer-facing service degradation
- Update Jira with triage notes and timelines to maintain incident documentation
- Flag recurring alert patterns for continuous improvement of detection capabilities
- Provide incident context by correlating customer journey and revenue data with alerts
- Support enhanced monitoring during peak events as coordinated by the Major Incident Manager
- 2–4 years of experience in application support, IT operations, NOC, or similar 24x7 environments
- Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring/observability tools (Zabbix, Splunk, DynaTrace, New Relic or similar)
- Strong incident management with alert triage, severity classification, and escalation
- Ability to work rotating shifts in a 24x7x365 model
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to correlate data points
- Strong written and verbal communication for high-pressure stakeholder updates
- Experience in fast-paced environments handling multiple tasks
- Understanding of cloud technologies, microservices, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident and Event Management)
- Previous experience in gaming, sports betting, or digital entertainment preferred
- Understanding of networking, APIs, databases, and data workflows
- Clear and concise communication under pressure
