Digital Transformation Lead
Pulse Group
Private Healthcare | Highly Competitive Pension | Subsidised Onsite Lunch
We’re exclusively partnered with a major global retailer undergoing significant investment across its Digital and Data & Analytics capabilities.
As part of this transformation, we’re looking for a D&A Digital Transformation Lead to sit at the intersection of Digital and Data, helping shape how analytics, customer data and insight support a major digital transformation agenda.
This is not a hands‑on Data Analyst, BI or Data Science role.
It’s a senior, strategic position for someone who understands the full D&A landscape but whose real strength is connecting Digital, Data, Product and Technology teams to turn transformation priorities into deliverable outcomes.
What you’ll be doing:
- Act as the senior D&A lead supporting the Digital Transformation function
- Translate digital priorities into clear D&A requirements, capabilities and roadmaps
- Work across Data Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Reporting and Data Governance
- Support ecommerce initiatives across product discovery, customer journeys, conversion, basket, checkout, fulfilment and post-purchase
- Shape how customer data is used across CDPs, CRM and personalisation
- Lead the approach to digital analytics, experimentation and A/B testing
- Partner with technical teams around tagging, data foundations, event structures and modern data platforms
- Manage dependencies, sequencing and trade-offs across complex transformation programmes
- Build strong relationships across senior Digital, Product, Technology and D&A leadership
- Help establish and shape a dedicated D&A capability supporting Digital Transformation
What we’re looking for
You’ll be a senior Data & Analytics or Digital Transformation leader with experience operating within a fast-paced retail, ecommerce, D2C, FMCG or consumer environment.
We’re particularly interested in experience across:
- Ecommerce and digital analytics
- Customer journey and conversion analytics
- CDPs, CRM and personalisation
- Web and mobile tagging and data foundations
- Experimentation and A/B testing
- Data Engineering and modern data platforms such as Databricks
- Data Science and advanced analytics
- Data Governance and reporting
You do not need to be hands‑on technically.
What matters is having enough technical depth to challenge specialists, understand what's possible and translate effectively between technical teams and senior Digital stakeholders.
You’ll be someone who is collaborative, commercially minded and people-first, comfortable operating at senior level and able to bring multiple teams together around a common goal.
