Director AI Engineering and DevOps

AI-assisted engineering and DevOps anchor this full-time Vancouver opportunity at Smythe LLP, based on-site with hybrid work after probation.

As Director, Application, Data & Integration, you will mature software engineering practices and improve development productivity through automation and modern delivery methods. You will establish CI/CD, testing, release management, secure development, monitoring, and documentation standards. The remit also covers applications, integrations, data, analytics, and Dynamics 365.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead adoption of AI-assisted development across engineering teams
• Establish CI/CD, environment, and release-management capabilities
• Strengthen automated testing, monitoring, and technical quality
• Embed application security throughout the development lifecycle
• Guide Dynamics 365 architecture, integration, and technical design

Requirements:

• Experience adopting AI-assisted development tools productively
• Demonstrated experience building engineering and DevOps practices
• Practical experience with CI/CD and automated testing
• Understanding of modern application architecture and cloud platforms
• Experience leading technical teams and implementation partners
