Director Cloud Infrastructure and FinOps

Lead cloud infrastructure, cost governance, and operational maturity for a global SaaS company with thousands of customers worldwide.

As Director of Engineering, you will own cloud platform financial stewardship and shared engineering services. Your remit includes cloud cost management, forecasting, budgeting, provider relationships, and production SaaS operations. Cross-functional partnership enables product innovation without compromising reliability, security, or efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own cloud cost governance, forecasting, budgeting, and optimization
• Evaluate, negotiate, and manage cloud providers and technology vendors
• Partner across Engineering, Finance, Security, Compliance, and Product
• Operate shared services supporting large-scale SaaS production environments
• Drive responsible governance for AI platforms and engineering tooling

Requirements:

• 10+ years across software, infrastructure, or related engineering disciplines
• 5+ years leading engineering managers or technical teams
• Experience with public and private cloud infrastructure
• Large-scale SaaS production operations experience
• Cloud financial management and strategic initiative leadership experience
