Director Enterprise Applications and Architecture

Enterprise application architecture leads this on-site Vancouver role with Smythe LLP, emphasizing integration, data, and technical leadership across the firm.

As Director, Application, Data & Integration, you will build enterprise capabilities supporting Smythe’s Connected Firm strategy. The position spans application architecture, software engineering, integration architecture, data engineering, analytics, and Dynamics 365 Project Operations. You will also guide AI-assisted development, DevOps practices, and secure delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide architecture oversight across Smythe’s enterprise application landscape
• Establish development, lifecycle, security, and engineering standards
• Own integration architecture, APIs, and data exchange approaches
• Build enterprise data engineering and analytics capabilities
• Lead multidisciplinary technical teams and external technology partners

Requirements:

• Progressive leadership across applications, engineering, integration, and data
• Experience building software engineering and DevOps practices
• Understanding of application architecture, APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, secure development, and lifecycle management
• Microsoft technology and Dynamics 365 experience strongly preferred
