Overview

In this role, you will lead end-to-end architecture for the Global Engagement Management and Finance (S/4HANA) programme within KPMG’s Global Digital. You’ll shape scalable, secure, and compliant solutions aligned with enterprise standards, driving global standardization and governance. You’ll work across regions to deliver high-value, technology-enabled outcomes and influence executive stakeholders. Responsibilities
  • Define and own end-to-end application architectures for S/4HANA across regions
  • Specify components, data flows, integration patterns, and deployment models
  • Present architecture decisions to global steerco and manage cross-region governance
  • Evaluate technologies and design patterns aligned with enterprise strategy
  • Create architecture artifacts (diagrams, API specs, blueprints)
  • Ensure alignment with business and enterprise architectures
  • Drive technical delivery with emphasis on excellence, resiliency, and scalability
  • Lead Global Solution Architecture Design Board and promote standardization
  • Establish architectural standards and governance for global consistency across modules
Key requirements
  • Senior experience in application architecture or enterprise design, preferably with SAP S/4HANA programmes
  • Experience governing global process models and architecture across geographies
  • Strong experience in modern application platforms and distributed, global-scale systems
  • Ability to operate at strategic and hands-on levels in global programmes
  • Experience managing resources and budgets (including $3m domain budgets)
  • Experience in consulting/advisory environments (Big 4 preferred) and SAP Activate or similar ERP methodologies
  • Exposure to cloud-enabled business models and intelligent enterprise concepts
  • Excellent communication and executive-facing presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking
  • Problem-solving aptitude and stakeholder influence
  • SAP S/4HANA (public cloud) expertise
  • Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF advantageous)
  • API design and integration patterns
