Overview

In this role, you will own end-to-end IT for a fast-growing company preparing for IPO, combining BAU operations with strategic systems delivery. You’ll lead a small, in-house team and set the IT strategy to scale safely and auditablely. By embracing AI and automation, you’ll transform IT from a cost center into a driver of business outcomes. Responsibilities
  • Oversee BAU IT operations across 1,000+ employees, ensuring secure, seamless experiences and strong incident handling
  • Lead end-to-end IT systems implementations to enable scaling and IPO readiness (identity, ITSM, automation, integrations)
  • Manage an in-house IT team, budget, and roadmap, balancing BAU and project work
  • Set and enforce governance, change management, and audit-ready controls
  • Champion AI-native workflows and automation to improve efficiency and capacity
  • Build relationships with stakeholders, auditors, and executives to demonstrate IT value and readiness
  • Define and communicate the IT strategy to support rapid growth and IPO preparation

Key requirements
  • 7+ years in IT operations or leadership, including senior-level experience in a scaling organization
  • Proven track record of owning IT strategy and service delivery with an in-house team
  • Experience selecting and managing software/vendor relationships and budgets
  • End-to-end systems/project delivery experience (scoping, testing, rollout, adoption)
  • Strong automation mindset with scripting (Python/Bash) or tools like n8n, Zapier, Workato
  • AI-native leadership with daily use of AI tools and ability to scale automation
  • Solid foundation in identity/endpoint management and SaaS administration (Google Workspace, Okta/Entra ID/JumpCloud)
  • Comfort with run vs. change investment trade-offs and executive-level communication
  • Process-minded with documentation, change control, and continuous improvement
  • Full ownership experience: budget, vendor negotiations, and direct people leadership
  • Desirable: IPO/public-company readiness, ISO 27001 familiarity, ITIL knowledge, incident management practices
