Overview
You will own the platform’s architecture, reliability and deployment of scalable, secure infrastructure for a fast-growing fintech. Reporting to the CTO, you lead platform strategy, cloud architecture and operational resilience while executing major technical initiatives hands-on. You will collaborate with the CTO, Head of Engineering and CISO to ensure secure, observable, cost-effective systems ready to scale. This role combines leadership with deep technical execution to shape the foundations behind a mission to broaden homeownership access. Expect high-impact work improving resilience, security and platform modernization.
Responsibilities- Own and evolve platform strategy across Azure and AWS
- Drive operational resilience, disaster recovery and incident readiness
- Design, build and modernise production infrastructure
- Champion Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Improve observability, service ownership, SLOs and reliability engineering
- Improve CI/CD, deployment workflows and internal platform tooling
- Partner with CISO on cloud security, access, secrets and infrastructure risk
- Improve cloud cost, capacity, performance and vendor management
- Lead major infrastructure migrations, platform modernisation and security improvements
- Act as the senior technical authority for platform and reliability
