Director, Quantum Systems Software

IonQ, Inc. in Oxford is seeking an enthusiastic and highly technical Director, Systems Software to lead the development of software powering our quantum computers.

You will work closely with software engineers and world‑leading quantum scientists to plan and manage the full stack from real‑time control to the quantum compiler layer. You will start by guiding a software team of around twenty engineers and help define a release‑driven stack, DevOps processes, and 3rd line support.
