Overview

As Domain Solution Architect in Bank of America, you will stabilise the EMEA portfolio amid attrition by leading regulatory-focused solutioning and data mapping for CBPR+/ISO20022 end-to-end processes. You will combine domain expertise in payments and banking regulations with cross-functional collaboration to reduce delivery risk. You’ll shape design across technology platforms, enabling compliant, scalable banking solutions. This is a high-impact role that connects regulatory analysis with practical architecture to support responsible growth.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct requirements elicitation via interviews, workshops, analyses and use cases
  • Document and design requirements using agile Epics and Stories
  • Lead application design across technology platforms
  • Develop banking solutions in a regulated environment
  • Communicate effectively (verbal and written) with business and tech teams
  • Demonstrate strong technical and architectural knowledge
  • Perform extensive technical and data analysis across architectures
Key requirements
  • Strong domain skills in payments and banking regulations
  • Experience with payments schemes (SWIFT, ACH, CHAPS, Faster Payments, SEPA, TARGET2, ISO 20022)
  • Understanding of banking regulations (OFAC, FTR, PSD2, AML)
  • Experience in data mapping and regulatory solutioning
  • Ability to collaborate with business and technology teams
  • Experience in architecture and multi-system integration
  • Experience with agile methodologies and requirement/design documentation
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative mindset with cross-functional teams
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Payments ecosystems and messaging (SWIFT, ISO 20022)
  • Banking regulations and compliance knowledge
  • Data analysis and mapping
