DSA Product Owner

In this role you own the DSA application as the technical bridge between Business and IT, shaping how technology enables business needs within the DSA ecosystem. You collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into usable designs, safeguards, and efficient processes. You’ll guide backlog work, define specifications, and drive adoption through training and optimization. - Act as technical specialist supporting business needs and partnering with the application partner to maximise value from the DSA ecosystem
- Capture and prioritize detailed requirements and manage the product backlog in collaboration with the Scrum Master
- Document current and future processes and identify efficiency opportunities
- Collaborate on high-level system design and prepare functional/technical specifications for configuration or development
- Configure and maintain DSA workflows and manage non-SAP code objects where applicable
- Administer user roles and access controls in line with InfoSec policies and support security/compliance across the DSA ecosystem
- Advise developers/testers on expected system behaviour and perform functional testing of solutions and upgrades
- Coordinate release activities and manage configuration changes per policy
- Create user guides and deliver training to drive adoption and effective usage
- Identify automation opportunities within product workflows to improve operational efficiency
- Establish disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the DSA ecosystem
- Monitor usage and ROI to support value realization and global adoption
- Support budget management and governance for the DSA ecosystem
- Strong understanding of digital shelf metrics, product content optimization and retail media strategies
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and backlog management tools
- Industry certifications and experience with DSA platforms (e.g., Commerce IQ, Profitero, Edge by Ascential) is essential
- Experience in Food & Beverage or related industry is highly desirable
- Experience in analysing business challenges using structured frameworks and methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for developing technology-enabled use cases
- Experience in modelling system processes; knowledge of BPMN or similar notation is beneficial
- Ability to design and execute functional tests and manage bugs through remediation
- Basic knowledge of software engineering, information risk, security standards, and technology solutioning
