Location: Basingstoke

Duration: Until 31/05/2027

Rate: £750 per day via an approved umbrella company

Must be willing and eligible to go through the DV Clearance process

Our client, a leading organisation in the IT services sector, is hiring for a reputable company to bring on board an experienced Service Architect to join their dynamic team in Basingstoke. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile projects, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead the design of end-to-end IT services, ensuring alignment with customer needs and contractual commitments (SLAs, KPIs).
• Develop detailed service models, including transition, operational, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define pricing, test requirements, and support needs.
• Oversee service artefacts, process design, and integration, facilitating smooth service readiness and transition.
• Manage RAID items, impact assessments, and early life support planning.
• Influence overall solution design to optimise service stability and efficiency.
• Work closely with solution owners and operational teams to ensure service quality.

What you'll bring:

• Extensive experience in service architecture and management, with a strong operational understanding of IT service supply chains.
• Proven ability to develop and document comprehensive service designs and artefacts.
• Skilled in process creation, documentation, and service readiness activities.
• Strong stakeholder influencing skills, capable of working with senior leaders.
• Knowledge of service management frameworks such as ITIL, ISO20000, or IT4IT.
• Ability to lead virtual and co-located teams within tight deadlines.
