e-Invoicing and Peppol Lead

In this role you will lead regulatory compliance for e-invoicing, Peppol, and digital tax across the UK, EU and beyond. You will partner with product, engineering and leadership to translate regulations into product capability, manage a regulatory roadmap, and guide customers on compliance. You’ll engage with external bodies and industry groups, driving a strategic ViDA agenda and ensuring ongoing alignment with evolving standards. This is a pivotal, cross-functional role at a leading construction software provider.

• Monitor and interpret regulatory requirements for e-invoicing, VAT, Peppol, DRR, CTC/DRC and related reporting obligations
• Maintain a regulatory roadmap with upcoming changes and deadlines
• Produce executive compliance updates and reports for leadership
• Own the Peppol compliance framework and coordinate audits, certifications, and industry engagements
• Translate regulatory needs into product capabilities (invoicing formats, validation rules, archiving, signatures)
• Lead ViDA requirements definition and create a strategic regulatory roadmap for DRR and intra-community reporting
• Manage compliance risk, incident remediation, and controls within products and operations
• Support sales with compliance expertise and deliver customer-facing briefings and webinars

• Minimum 3 years in Peppol Access Point operations plus two other areas (e-Invoicing, VAT, digital tax, or e-reporting/CTC)
• Strong understanding of Peppol Network, BIS, EN16931, XML, and SMP/SML architecture
• Experience with European/UK VAT frameworks, CTC and clearance models
• 3+ years in a Peppol Access Point provider environment plus two related areas (FinTech, regulatory consulting, ERP, etc.)
• Ability to collaborate with product, engineering, leadership, regulators and customers
