Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year

Requirements:
  • A degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with EDI technology, including Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs), order releases, and daily ship schedules.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily EDI operations and troubleshoot COM sessions, inbound and outbound transactions, and 997 reconciliations.
  • Correct and retransmit rejected outbound transactions.
  • Implement trading partners using EDI transactions and LN.
  • Liaise with technical teams, business areas, business partners, and third-party EDI networks.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with trading partners.
  • Maintain trading partner documentation and version control.
  • Map, test, and implement inbound and outbound transactions.
  • Research missing inbound transactions and help ensure EDI transactions are accurate and timely.
  • Maintain and update Interform reports for inbound transactions, including 820, 856, 850, and 860 reports.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.

The role reports to our Director of Information Technology and supports the reliable flow of electronic data among our internal departments, vendors, and global customers, helping our sales and logistics operations run efficiently. We have advanced powdered metal technology and products since 1927, operate plants in Pennsylvania and North Carolina, and are part of Sumitomo Electrics global industrial materials business.
