Electrical Engineer II / Systems Electrical Engineer

GE Vernova – Power Conversion is looking for an experienced Electrical / Systems Engineer to support projects involving motors, generators, electrical drives, switchboards, power conversion, and HV systems .

Key requirements:

• Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
• Electrical systems/design engineering experience
• EPLAN / E-Plan & AutoCAD
• HV experience (1kV AC / 1.5kV DC )
• Systems integration, testing & commissioning experience
• MATLAB/Simulink, Speedgoat, Teamcenter or power conversion experience is a plus

Eligibility & Security Requirements

• Must meet the UK nationality requirements applicable to UK Eyes Only projects
• Must currently reside in the UK
• Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, SC Security Clearance
• Must have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship
• Visa sponsorship is not available

? The initial contract runs to December 2026, with potential for extension depending on project requirements, workload and business needs .
