Electrical Test Design Engineer

Apply electrical design and troubleshooting expertise to sustaining test engineering at L3Harris WESCAM in Waterdown, Ontario. Support production test solutions across complex assemblies.

This Electrical Designer supports the Test Engineering Electrical Sustaining team for in-house and vendor manufacturing. The work covers automated functional tests for circuit card, electromechanical, optical, laser, and fully assembled products. You will update fixtures, software, drawings, and documentation while improving test coverage and robustness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support test fixtures and software applications across production operations
• Debug and repair test jigs, boxes, racks, and WHAs
• Update fixture designs and software after product changes
• Provide electrical support to the Circuit Card Repair Cell
• Document drawings, processes, inventory, and corrective actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree plus two years of related experience
• Or graduate degree plus zero to two years’ experience
• Or six years of related experience without a degree
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, and Development Lifecycle methodologies
