Overview
As Fixed Wire Testing Team Leader, you will guide a testing team on a major nuclear site, ensuring compliance with BS7671 and safe, reliable delivery of works. You’ll coordinate with the Fixed Wire Testing Manager, lead pre-job briefings and QA activities, and drive customer service and cross-functional collaboration. This role combines hands-on leadership with technical oversight in a high-stakes environment. You will help shape team performance and build capability through mentoring and structured development.

- Act as primary contact for client queries and escalation
- Oversee pre-job briefings, supervision, workface inspections and QA
- Collaborate with Fixed Wire Testing Manager to plan and optimise resources
- Coach and develop team members toward performance milestones
- Deliver regular team briefings, maintain customer relationships and service quality
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Maintenance and Installation (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years' Fixed Wire Testing experience
- Full clean UK driving licence
