About the role:

We are looking for an IBM Sterling File Gateway / B2B Integrator Developer to develop, test, and deploy Sterling Maps and Business Processes, support business releases, and contribute to DevOps initiatives. Strong SQL, Linux/Unix, Java, and CI/CD knowledge is preferred.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will work within the File Gateway Engineering & Development team to Develop, Unit test and deploy the Sterling artefacts like Maps, Business process.

They will also be expected to super clear on communication in addition to knowing the Backend Sterling Env (basic Linux OS, Networks, DB, Unix commands). They will report into the File Gateway Principal Engineer and will be working independently as a Squad member, on various business releases and technology remediation delivery work. They will be expected to work alongside the Architecture/Design and Testing teams, ensuring maximum collaboration. They will also be heavily focused on ensuring Engineering capabilities and help with adoption of DevOps methodology across the wider estate

Essential skills for this role

• 1. Experience of IBM Sterling File Gateway/ IBM Sterling B2B Integrator suite would be highly beneficial to a candidate. This includes Sterling Integrator, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Secure Proxy, Perimeter Servers, Sterling Control Centre.
• 2. Strong knowledge of SQL. Working knowledge on Shell scripting & Java.
• 3. Basic understanding of deployment process Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery concepts (CI / CD) and also should be aware of CI tools like GitLab etc.

Desired skills for this role?

• 1. Strong knowledge in version control using GIT
• 2. Knowledge on Cloud/Containers/Kubernetes concepts will be an added advantage.
• 3. Knowledge on file transfer Protocols (FTPs/SFTP/Connect: Direct/EBICS) and basics of certificate management (TLS/SSL/OCSP).
