Electronic Data Senior Analyst

In this role you drive data intelligence services for matters with repeatable workflow within DLA Piper’s EDM function. You will be the primary point of contact on small- to medium-size matters, collaborating with lawyers and practice groups to deliver timely, high-quality data processing, review, and analysis. You’ll manage risk, provide proactive guidance, and report progress to clients and internal stakeholders. You’ll also support training, leverage AI where appropriate, and contribute to revenue goals through efficient delivery.
Responsibilities- Lead data intelligence activities for repeatable-workflow matters, including scoping, collection, processing, search, review facilitation, production, and analysis of third-party data
- Serve as primary point of responsibility for small- to medium-size matters and assist on complex matters under guidance
- Communicate timelines, provide status updates, and manage client expectations for deliverables
- Develop and maintain internal client relationships across lawyers and practice groups to deliver integrated data solutions
- Assess quality controls and risk across projects, escalating issues and advising on mitigation strategies
- Provide stakeholders with regular milestone reports and deliverables tracking
- Offer proactive guidance on data processing formats, strategies, and timelines
- Deliver matter-specific training on review software and protocols
- Leverage analytics, continuous learning, and generative AI to improve efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with Law and business services to deliver integrated, diverse solutions
- Meet or exceed utilization targets and contribute to firm revenue
- Record time daily in accordance with time-entry policy
- Experience in most stages of the Electronic Data Reference Model (EDRM)
- Proven project management experience for matters with repeatable workflow
- Strong problem-solving orientation and client-facing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to manage tight deadlines with proven delivery
- Experience with processing and review platforms (RelativityOne, Nuix)
- Experience with legally aligned generative AI platforms preferred
- Certifications in project management or eDiscovery (e.g., PRINCE2, ACEDS, Relativity Certified Administrator) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
