Embedded C++ Software Engineer

Embedded C++ software engineering drives medical X-ray generator development within CPI’s R&D group. This position focuses on reliable object-oriented software.

Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, the Embedded Software Engineer develops and maintains software for medical X-ray generators. The work includes C++, microcontrollers, real-time operating systems, and multithreading. Collaboration spans hardware and software teams, customers, and end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and test embedded object-oriented software
• Optimize system performance, stability, and scalability
• Define specifications and support seamless integration
• Debug issues across software and hardware domains
• Maintain requirements and design documentation

Requirements:

• University technical degree
• Minimum five years’ embedded C++ experience
• Experience with microcontrollers and real-time operating systems
• Experience with multithreading
• Strong organizational and communication skills
