Embedded Firmware Engineer C C++

Develop embedded firmware in C and C++ for residential appliance controls and IoT products with Avnan’s hybrid engineering team. This six-month contract emphasizes testing and debugging.

As an experienced Embedded Firmware Developer, you will report to the Senior Software Design Lead. You will create low-level device drivers, application layers, and test software while working with hardware designers and overseas engineering teams. The work spans new product development, legacy firmware improvement, and production release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, debug, and release embedded software
• Integrate firmware with hardware electronics designs
• Build and run firmware validation tests
• Use debug tools and automation to resolve issues
• Maintain version control, reviews, and documentation

Requirements:

• Five or more years in embedded firmware design
• Strong C and C++ skills; Assembly knowledge
• Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and device drivers
• Experience taking products through production release
• Electrical, Electronics, or Computer Engineering education
