Overview
In this role you will develop embedded Linux software for musical hardware, focusing on onboard support, drivers, and tools. You will collaborate with global application teams and hardware engineers to ship cohesive, high-performance solutions. You will own build and runtime performance, and help shape robust, user-friendly products. This position offers exposure to cross-functional development, modern build systems, and kernel-level considerations in a music tech context.

- Set up and debug build systems (CMake, Bitbake)
- 3+ years of embedded Linux experience
- C, C++, Python, Bash scripting
- Experience with Linux build toolchains (Buildroot, Yocto)
- System-level thinking from application to hardware
- Knowledge of USB, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C
- Profiling and tracing of real-time apps; debugging with gdb/remote tools
- Git version control
- Ability to read schematics/datasheets and implement from them
- Diagnosing systems-level/hardware issues
