Embedded Software Developer Rail Systems

Design embedded software for ZTR rail systems using object oriented programming, industrial protocols, and modern development languages. This role includes international customer travel.

As an Embedded Software Developer, you will contribute to complex engineering projects across the software development life cycle. You will design, code, test, and maintain applications and features. The work includes algorithms, system controls, communication protocols, and CI/CD support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross functional teams on applications and features
• Support software through every CI/CD lifecycle stage
• Develop algorithms for mechanical and electrical system controls
• Complete code reviews, regression testing, and debugging
• Commission systems and software at global rail yards

Requirements:

• Four or more years of software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in electrical or software engineering
• Experience across all development life cycle phases
• Knowledge of Git, CI principles, and communication protocols
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, C++, C, Java, or JavaScript
