Overview

In this Embedded Software Engineer role, you’ll design, develop, debug and verify embedded solutions for bespoke customer needs. You’ll split your time between firmware and hardware tasks, collaborating with customers and reporting to the CTO to drive compliant, high-quality outcomes. The position blends hands-on electronics work with software development in a growing R&D team in south Manchester. This is an opportunity to deepen your embedded expertise while contributing to customer-focused innovations.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, debug and test embedded solutions
  • Collaborate with customers to ensure requirements and compliance standards are met
  • Work closely with the CTO to develop and grow the role and skills
  • Balance firmware and hardware tasks (80/20) to deliver integrated solutions
Key requirements
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Electronics, Embedded Software, Systems Engineering
  • Previous embedded experience
  • C/C++ programming
  • Electronics knowledge
