Embedded Software Engineer

In this role you will join a growing engineering team to develop, optimise and integrate software infrastructure for high-performance embedded and real-time systems. You will work across software, hardware and systems teams to deliver robust communications products with a focus on performance, reliability and scalability. You will tackle integration, testing and automation activities that enable advanced wireless solutions. This position offers hands-on work with cutting-edge technology in a mission-driven environment.

• Develop software platforms to run and test communications algorithms
• Optimise software performance using multi-threading, SIMD and hardware acceleration
• Integrate software with ARM-based embedded platforms and hardware systems
• Support and improve automated testing and CI pipelines
• Participate in integration, interoperability and system testing activities
• Collaborate with software, hardware and architecture teams to deliver robust solutions
• Contribute to technical reviews and customer-facing engineering discussions

• Strong C or C++ programming experience
• Experience with Linux and embedded software environments
• Knowledge of Python, Bash, Groovy or similar scripting languages
• Understanding of real-time systems and performance-critical software
• Experience with Git, GitHub and modern software development workflows
