Overview
As Senior Embedded Engineer, you will take a leading role in delivering complex software-enabled systems from an embedded perspective and beyond. You will stay closely connected to embedded software while expanding into system architecture, multidisciplinary integration, and technical leadership. Collaborating with software, electronics, and systems engineers, you’ll own key technical delivery and influence projects across multiple domains. This role offers meaningful impact shaping innovative products and scalable solutions in a world-leading consultancy.
Responsibilities- Lead the development and delivery of complex software-enabled systems
- Contribute to system architecture and cross-domain integration (software, electronics, systems engineering)
- Assume technical ownership and steer delivery of engineering projects
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and customers
- Collaborate across disciplines to solve complex technical challenges
- Support and shape project direction through deep problem-solving and systems thinking
- Strong experience in embedded software or firmware for complex devices or physical products
- Broad understanding of embedded systems architecture and system integration
- Ability to work across software, electronics and systems engineering
- Experience taking technical ownership and leading delivery of engineering projects
- Strong problem-solving skills with a systems-thinking mindset
- Effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and customers
- Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership (preferred)
