Overview

In this role you will develop and maintain safety-critical embedded software for prototype and production systems. You will work with a cross-functional team to re-use IP, support customer integration, and verify and validate software in agile settings. The position offers a path to shape impactful embedded solutions within a stable parent company. You will engage with advanced toolchains and standards to drive reliable, compliant software in automotive and related domains.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain embedded software for prototype and production systems per OEM/standards.
  • Create and maintain reusable library blocks to accelerate multiple products.
  • Support on-site customer integration, parametrisation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
  • Verify, validate, and test software solutions for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate in an agile team, promoting flexibility and self-management.
  • Ensure process adherence while seeking improvements in development/testing workflows.
Key requirements
  • University degree or equivalent in Software/Electrical/Control/Applied Physics or equivalent (as stated).
  • Formal embedded software development experience in Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, or similar domains.
  • Fluent C programming for safety-critical embedded applications and MISRA C guidelines.
  • Experience with fixed-point and floating-point arithmetic.
  • Experience with 32-bit CPU/FPUs, interrupts, peripherals, real-time programming.
  • Understanding of compilers, linkers, makefiles, software build processes, CI builds.
  • Experience with Vector Tools (VFlash, CANalyzer, CanoE).
  • Experience with device drivers, BSW, RTE and ASW in AUTOSAR systems, especially Vector MICROSAR and DaVinci toolchain.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability within agile environments.
  • Attention to detail and drive for quality in safety-critical contexts.
  • C for safety-critical embedded applications (MISRA C)
  • AUTOSAR (Vector MICROSAR, DaVinci toolchain)
  • 32-bit MCU/FPUE programming
