Overview
In this role you will develop embedded software for IoT and consumer products, reporting to the CTO with a dotted line to the Software Director. You will work across projects in a small, hands-on environment, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including end customers. Linux experience is a plus as the business scales up in 2026. This is a chance to influence multiple projects from concept to delivery and grow with a growing engineering team.
Responsibilities- Drive embedded software development on projects across the product lifecycle
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including end customers
- Work across all project aspects in a small business setting
- Contribute to low-level and bare-metal programming efforts
- Support projects with Linux-related tasks where applicable
- Embedded C/C++ programming
- Microcontroller development
- Low level / bare metal programming
- FreeRTOS
- Linux – desirable
- Understanding of electronics
- Degree in Electronics or Software Engineering
