Overview

In this hybrid Cambridge role, you will develop embedded software for RF sensor products using DSPs and firmware running on RTOS. You join an expanding electronics manufacturer delivering diverse projects for international clients. You will tackle hardware-software challenges and contribute to product development across ruggedised sensor systems. This is an opportunity to grow in a junior role while working with modern embedded tech and a global customer base.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain embedded software for RF sensor products
  • Implement DSP-based algorithms and software components
  • Work with firmware on RTOS environments
  • Collaborate with international customers and cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to the design, validation, and delivery of multiple products
Key requirements
  • 2+ commercial embedded software experience
  • Degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Maths, Physics or similar
  • Good commercial RTOS experience
  • Experience or knowledge of SPI, I2C or UDP
  • DSP experience advantageous but not essential
